Managing Director, Insitu Pacific

Mr Duggan was appointed to the role of Managing Director Insitu Pacific on the establishment of the company in Australia during July 2009. In this role he has led the newly formed Insitu Pacific through a significant growth period, capturing major Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) contracts with Defence Forces in Australia, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia and the UAE.
Prior to this Mr Duggan was the Senior Manager Unmanned Systems Operations managing Boeing Defence Australia’s Unmanned Systems focused business from January 2007 through to the transition to Insitu Pacific in 2009. During this period he led the capture and execution of the Australian Army ScanEagle contracts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Mr Duggan joined Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) in 2000 and worked initially in Analysis, Modeling & Simulation before moving into a Business Development Manager role working on a number of UAS and Helicopter projects. He then formed the new Advanced Unmanned Systems group in 2005.
Mr Duggan was then appointed Senior Manager Unmanned Systems Operations in 2007 to manage BDA’s Unmanned Systems focused business. Mr Duggan graduated from the Royal Military College, Duntroon as an Australian Army Officer into Intelligence Corps. and has extensive experience in the application of UAS across a range of joint military operations and scenarios.
