Training Services – Australia and Asia Pacific defence customers
Comprehensive training programs for Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) Pilots and Maintenance Technicians form an important part of our end-to-end service delivery to defence customers.
A variety of courses across multiple platforms have been delivered for over 10 years at our Brisbane facility by our team of experienced qualified instructors skilled across both unmanned and manned aviation. Many of our instructors have served in operational roles within the Australian Defence Force or as Field Service Representatives to support customer deployments around the globe. This experience is underpinned by our commitment to training excellence to ensure that our certified courses meet the highest standards necessary to successfully support students’ skills and knowledge.
Small group instruction is delivered at our training classrooms, with Pilot simulation training occurring in purpose built Flight Training Device simulator rooms, and with Maintenance Technician training delivered in a dedicated maintenance training facility in Brisbane. Complimenting this realistic training is practical ground system and flight training run at our Flight Testing and Training facility at Coominya and/or customer locations.
With courses delivered annually, we’re proud to support our defence customers to successfully deploy our leading platforms on land and at sea to gather critical intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) information when and where it’s needed most.
Remote training and simulation capabilities
Insitu Pacific provides remote training and simulation capabilities for ScanEagle Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) pilot and maintainer qualifications. This training delivers elements of the ScanEagle UAS course virtually, and complements conventional onsite instruction at Insitu Pacific’s training and simulation facility in Brisbane, as well as at customer locations.
Remote classroom theory lessons, flight simulation training and virtual equipment demonstrations are made possible through the use of multimedia technology. Remote training opens new opportunities to conduct more flexible and cost effective training for customers both in Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
