Mission ready: 80+ Army members trained on Integrator
Over 80 Australian Army members have now completed training on equipment for the LAND-129 Phase 3 program.
Insitu Pacific has delivered a combination of operator and maintenance courses at its dedicated Brisbane training facility over the last 12 months. During that time, soldiers have been getting hands-on experience with operational hardware and simulators designed to develop the necessary skills to support the Integrator Tactical Uncrewed Aircraft System capability as it is introduced into service.
Army soldiers have also been engaging with Insitu Pacific’s simulation facility to run a growing number of high fidelity, mission-specific scenarios enabling them to practice their new skills in realistic, virtual-world environments. This training is critical to operate the capability in diverse operational environments.
“While classes have recently wrapped up for 2023, we look forward to welcoming the next group of trainees from Army’s 20 Regiment back to our bespoke local training facility in early 2024,” Andrew Duggan managing director Insitu Pacific said.
